Crude Oil Processing
The process of refining crude oil depends heavily on the mixtures of hydrocarbons and the viscosity of the crude oil produced at the well site. The variation in the grades of oil can differ greatly amongst geographic regions around the world. Progressing cavity pumps can be used during the process to pump crude oil from storage tanks located at well sites to tank trucks or rail cars as well as pump bitumen crude oil from reactor tanks to storage vessels. To ensure a smooth, pulseless flow with low vibration, the pump can be packaged with LACT units as the pipeline booster pump and will not affect meter and instrument accuracy.
The following Moyno products can be effectively utilized in this process.
-
G1 - Flanged Design
Versatile, high performance pump designed to handle a wide range of applications from shear-sensitive chemicals to difficult-to-process slurries and sludges -
2000WA - Close Coupled Design
Features integral shaft bearings specifically designed for applications that require the transfer of highly viscous fluids and solids where a close coupled configuration is preferred, but the robustness of a gear joint is desired -
2000WB - Close Coupled Design
Traditional close coupled pump specifically designed for applications that require the transfer of highly viscous fluids and solids where a close coupled configuration is preferred, but the robustness of a gear joint is desired -
