Primary Treatment
During this treatment process water flows through primary sedimentation tanks. Here is where sludge and heavy solids from the water settle to the bottom of the tank and oil, grease, and some light solids will float to the surface. The heavy solids at the bottom of the tank are continuously scraped and the sludge is driven towards a hopper at the bottom of the tank where it is then collected and pumped to a sludge treatment facility. The oil, grease and top floating contents are skimmed off and the remaining water is then subjected to secondary treatment.
Moyno pumps and grinders can be used in the following processes:

G1 - Flanged Design
Versatile, high performance pump designed to handle a wide range of applications from shear-sensitive chemicals to difficult-to-process slurries and sludges -
2000WA - Close Coupled Design
Features integral shaft bearings specifically designed for applications that require the transfer of highly viscous fluids and solids where a close coupled configuration is preferred, but the robustness of a gear joint is desired -
2000WB - Close Coupled Design
Traditional close coupled pump specifically designed for applications that require the transfer of highly viscous fluids and solids where a close coupled configuration is preferred, but the robustness of a gear joint is desired -
