Oct 2008 Turn a costly waste stream into a profit
It’s every manufacturer’s dream to turn a costly waste
stream into a profit stream…
In many industries - Oil and Gas, Chemical, Municipal, Food… -
our engineers have helped customers improve their process and their
bottom line!
For example, a major brewery has turned the problem of waste dry
grain dust into a profit stream, by mixing the dust solids with
water and metering it into spent grain feed – eliminating
disposal costs and amplifying a saleable product for animal feedstock.
The pump equipment adopted is a Moyno 2000 HS. Its operation is
customised to the customer’s system. In this example, the
pump single-handedly mixes the dust, physically providing its own
net positive system head for reliable pump suction conditions and
accurately meters the product.
The customer reckons the engineered Moyno solution yielded payback
within the first seven to nine months and has been running for
over two years without any maintenance requirements!

pump manufacturers. However, the application of that pumping technology
and equipment to your plant’s operation and business requirements
is what will make your choice of pump advisor and partner clear
to you.
Whatever industry you’re in, if you have an application
which is difficult (previously felt to be impossible!) or currently
complicated and expensive to operate then please call us. You,
