Moyno® Sanitary High Pressure Pumps Reduce Operating Costs

Moyno® Sanitary High Pressure Pumps - Product Image

Moyno has extended its offering of sanitary progressing cavity pumps with a new line of high pressure models for the food and beverage, pharmaceutical, cosmetic and specialty chemical markets.

Based upon the field-proven Moyno® 2000 Pump drive end, the Moyno® Sanitary High Pressure Pump is capable of generating a maximum flow rate of 225 gpm and a maximum pressure of 500 psi. End users no longer have to deal with the complicated automation and safety risks associated with running two lobe pumps in series, or the frequent maintenance and expense common with piston pumps. The Moyno Sanitary High Pressure Pump does all the work of either option to drastically reduce operating costs and simplify system design.

The Moyno Sanitary High Pressure Pump is well-suited for end user applications such as pumping viscous lowfat foods, large particulate products, meat emulsions, thick pastes, etc. The precise metering capabilities and inherent pulseless flow of the pump make it ideal for Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) applications including membrane separation, tubular heat exchangers and extrusion systems. Other markets include pharmaceutical, cosmetic, paint and specialty chemical industries where clean product change-overs are required by flushing or quick disassembly.

Additional value-added features include the following:

  • Engineered to 3a,BISSC and USDA standards
  • CIP models available
  • Pumps viscosities over 1,000,000 cps unassisted; no feed pump required
  • High abrasion-resistance
  • Preserves integrity of particulates
  • Pulseless flow
  • Low product shear
  • Handles entrained air and gases without vapor locking
  • Designed for easy routine maintenance
  • FDA-approved contact materials
  • Low total cost of ownership
