Moyno, Inc. to Exhibit New Products At WEFTEC 2002Springfield, Ohio, USA - Moyno, Inc. will display its latest new product, the Moyno® Annihilator, as well as its Moyno progressing cavity pumps at the Water Environment Federation Annual Conference & Exposition to be held September 29 through October 2, 2002 in Chicago, IL. WEFTEC attendees can view the following products in booth #5011. New Moyno® Annihilator: The new Moyno® Annihilator is a twin shaft solids reduction unit designed for trouble-free performance in a variety of installations including sewage lift stations, head works and sludge processing systems. The Annihilator's field-proven, counter-rotating, hexagonal shaft design coupled with its 5-tooth, hardened steel cutters provide the maximum shredding strength necessary to process from 300 to 4,250 GPM (.43 to 6.12 MGD) of influent. When properly specified, the Annihilator prolongs the service life of downstream equipment such as pumps, sensors, monitors and valves. For even greater performance, the Annihilator is fitted with patented, toothed cutting spacers that increase the unit's efficiency, further decrease particle size and reduce the risk of failure from ragging. An exclusive seal/bearing cartridge assembly eliminates the need to disassemble the entire grinder when servicing seals and bearings. New Moyno® 2000 HS System: The new Moyno® 2000 HS System features an integral hopper with a twin-screw auger feeder and a specially designed progressing cavity pump that efficiently handles semi-dry, high solids content, dewatered sludge cake. It also utilizes Moyno's field-proven, crown gear-type universal joint, the most rugged drive train in the industry, along with its Ultra Technologies for superior performance, long life and maximum customer value. The system's continuous, non-pulsating flow minimizes pressure spikes in the pipeline, which can be three times the nominal line loss. Optional slip injection ring(s) significantly reduce line pressure and the corresponding amp draw (i.e., horsepower required). The Moyno® Control System for the slip ring injection ensures negligible amounts of liquid are added to the cake. Moyno® 2000 Pump: The Moyno® 2000 Pump is ideal for efficient, cost-effective handling of various municipal wastewater treatment applications including positive displacement sludge pumping, scum and grease pumping, raw sewage high head lift stations, lime slurry transfer and dosing, and incinerator feeding. It is capable of generating flow rates to 4,000 gpm and discharge pressure to 1,000 psi. The versatile, high-performance 2000 Pump features Moyno's crown gear-type universal joint, the heaviest duty drive train configuration available in the industry. In addition, the pump is available in a variety of construction materials with many different options, allowing customization to specific needs. Moyno, Inc. is a leading manufacturer and marketer of Moyno progressing cavity pumps, multiphase fluid transfer systems, grinders and controls. It has an extensive worldwide stocking distribution network that serves a wide range of industries including water and wastewater treatment, pulp and paper, chemical, food, pharmaceutical, mining, petrochemical, and oil and gas recovery. Moyno, Inc. is a unit of Robbins & Myers, Inc. |
